abstract: 
This study has several objectives: (a) gather targeted data on security and resilience considerations with regards to migration towards all-IP networks, (b) review the strategy of major EU operators of electronic communications networks and services with regards to this migration, (c) independently analyse the impact of the identified strategies on the security and resilience of critical information infrastructures, (d) assess lessons to be learnt from telecommunications services providers operating in non-EU countries, (e) identify good practices and make recommendations to National and European policy makers, regulatory authorities and operators. The study has been lasting from January 2010 till December 2010. The final results were presented on 7 December in Brussels
